Robert's work is inspired by nature, people, food and the exotic. He was raised in Colombia, South America, and this together with his travels for several commissioned projects, have been a great inflence on his work.

He has illustrated several highly successful cookery books, including 'The Top One Hundred Pasta Sauces' and 'The Vegetable Market Cookbook', which have been published in numerous languages and many parts of the world.

His drawings and paintings capture the vibrancy and richness of the places he visits, and his unique style of work has been purchased by several art collectors. He has recently collaborated on several specially commissioned projects, including murals for the Northwood Synagogue and mozaics for the Yavneh College, London.
